On April 21, 2026, Sala Bikini Barcelona will host a concert by the Ukrainian band DakhaBrakha as part of their European tour presenting the album Ptakh.

DakhaBrakha is a cultural Ukrainian quartet, founded at Kyiv’s Dakh Theatre, which has become one of the most influential musical projects of modern Ukraine. Their signature “ethno-chaos” style is based on the fusion of traditional Ukrainian folk with elements of world music, creating a unique sound that has captivated audiences on stages across the globe.

The album Ptakh is a profound musical work reflecting strength, resilience, and the pursuit of freedom. Created over several years, it stands as a symbolic statement about contemporary Ukraine. The image of the bird in this project serves as a metaphor for a voice that continues to be heard regardless of circumstances.

The concert program will feature new compositions from the album Ptakh, as well as the band’s iconic tracks, including “Sho z-pod duba,” “Vesna,” “Ptakh,” and “Plyve Choven.” The live performance combines music, theatrical expression, and visual elements, creating a complete and immersive stage experience.
